Welcome to Puruvesi Swim on 27 June 2026

An event tested in summer 2025, offering the chance to experience the clear waters of Lake Puruvesi and the beauty of midsummer.

Event flow

From the event centre, a five-kilometre boat transfer takes you to Petrisaari
There you will swim 2.5 km, 5 km or 10 km around a scenic island, also a protected nature area, in the clear waters of Lake Puruvesi
The swimming route follows the shoreline

Weather conditions on the event day may affect the final start and finish locations. The most likely start point is the northwestern tip of Petrisaari, from where 2.5 km swimmers head towards Mykkii Island (the easternmost island on the map). The 5 km route circles the island once, and the 10 km route twice.
